Kseniia Sosnina Leaves the Post of CEO of Ilim Group

Ilim Group informs that Kseniia Sosnina has stepped down from her role as the Company’s CEO due to the expiration of her employment contract. Aleksei Lomko, Senior Vice President Legal, has been appointed Acting CEO.

Ilim Group informs that Kseniia Sosnina has stepped down from her role as the Company’s CEO due to the expiration of her employment contract. Aleksei Lomko, Senior Vice President Legal, has been appointed Acting CEO.

Zakhar Smushkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed his high appreciation of the work done by Kseniia Sosnina in her role:

“Over seven years, the Company led by Kseniia Sosnina has reached the challenging goals set by the Board of Directors. We would like to thank Kseniia and wish her all the best in her future career”, said Zakhar Smushkin, Chairman of Ilim Group’s Board of Directors.

Kseniia Sosnina was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company in June 2016 after her service on the Company’s Board of Directors. She led large-scale upgrade with total investment of USD 3.8 billion. The overall capacity of Ilim Group’s Mills grew by 17% and product export to China reached record high 2.2 million tons per year.

Aleksei Lomko began his career with the Company in 2005 and has been Senior Vice President since August 2018. Mr Lomko graduated from the Ural Legal Academy in 1999 and in 2016, received MBA from the Northwestern University (U.S.) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Ilim Group is the leader of the Russian pulp and paper industry and one of the industry leaders globally. In 2022, the Company’s revenue exceeded USD 3 billion.
