On January 9, 2023, Alexey Chernyaev, Vice President, Procurement and Packaging at JSC Ilim Group, was appointed Senior Vice President, Sales, Supply Chain Management and Packaging in the Company.

Alexey Chernyaev’s key duties in his new role include development of sales markets, minimization of logistic costs, update and implementation of the sales and logistics strategy, sale of KLB Mill products and implementation of digital tools.

Timofey Sokolenko, former Senior Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain Management, will stay in the Company in the position of Advisor to CEO, Strategic Marketing. His scope of responsibility will include consultations on strategic marketing, sales markets and sales channels, as well as pricing policy.

Alexey Chernyaev graduated from the St. Petersburg State Transport University with a degree of an Electromechanical Engineer. He has over 15 years of work experience in managerial positions in purchasing, production, supply chain and capital project management in industrial companies with world-class manufacturing standards and safety culture, including RJR TI, Philip Morris International, Heineken, etc.

Starting from 2006, Alexey held CEO positions in vertically integrated production companies.

In 2012, he became Managing Director in Bralima/Boukin, Heineken's business in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In April 2016, he was appointed Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain Management at JSC Ilim Group.

In 2019, he assumed the position of Vice President, Procurement and Packaging in the Company.
