The professional expertise and commitment of the Company’s shareholders, top management and employees have largely been the success drivers for JSC Ilim Group, the leader of the Russian pulp and paper industry and one of the key players on a global scale.

We are proud that Ilim Group has been our client for most of its lifetime, and we highly appreciate our reliable long-standing and time-tested partnership, the basis of which has always been mutual understanding.

We are pleased that for most of its lifetime, i.e. since 2002, your Company has been one of the corporate members of the Hermitage Friends Club. Over these years, by joint efforts we have implemented lots of different restoration, exhibition and other projects.

It is particularly noteworthy, that being a paper company, Ilim Group consistently supports the Museum in preserving and restoring graphic exhibits: from manuscripts dating back to the Petrine era to sketches of Fabergé jewelry.

Beyond any doubt, Ilim Group Mills are significant production facilities, which have become true symbols of regions of their operation and taken a well-deserved position on the Russian industrial map.

Ilim Group has made a glorious way highlighted by bright victories. Over three decades, the Company has managed to considerably increase its bench strength, develop production capacities and expand the product mix. It is largely due to the Company’s highly skilled and hard-working employees — process engineers, supervisors and production managers, mechanical and power engineers — that the industry has been developing and moving forward, and the Company’s name has become widely known in and outside Russia.

We are delighted that this way was partially made along with JSC Gazprombank. I would place particular emphasis on our joint efforts to ensure timely financing of the Ust-Ilimsk KLB Mill construction as part of Ilim Group’s large-scale investment program.

This fundamental project and ambitious plans allow the Company to face the future with confidence as one of the flagships of our pulp and paper industry.

I am convinced that Ilim Group will continue to develop steadily supported by a team of professionals and advanced technologies, while our business relations will grow stronger with each passing year.

May this anniversary year become the starting point for launching new successful projects and rising to the next development level for all employees and veterans of Ilim Group.
