• Valery earned a degree from the Vyatka State University, as well as from the Business School of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
• He joined the Pulp Mill in Koryazhma in 1989 and held various engineering positions starting from 1995.
• Valery led the HR and Administration Directorate of BU Ilim West, Ilim Group, to be subsequently appointed the Mill Manager in Koryazhma.
• In 2017, he became Director Investments of JSC Ilim Group.
• From August 2018, Valery holds the position of Vice-President, CAPEX.
• From February 2020 - VP Digital projects in Operations.
