Pulp consists of separate fibers which are very strong and have a high binding ability. These valuable properties of pulp fiber are useful for paper and board manufacturing. Pulp fiber is used to manufacture various types of paper, including writing and printing paper, tissue products and bank note paper, newsprint, painting, cigarette, filtering and sack paper, etc. Cartonboard is mainly used to produce solid and liquid packaging, and various construction elements. Chemically clean pulp is used as a raw material for chemical processing, for example, when producing dissolved and cordage fiber for different cellulose esters.
