Ilim’s Mill in the city of Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk Oblast, dating back to 1972 is one of the anchor companies of the region.
The main business area of the Mill is manufacturing bleached softwood kraft pulp, paperboard, and forest chemicals. The annual output of market pulp and kraftliner exceeds 1.5 million tons.
Launched in 2018 and licensed for start-up in February 2024, the Ust‑Ilimsk Mill combines cutting-edge technology, full automation and digitalization to deliver 600,000 tons of premium kraftliner board annually.
The headcount of the Ust-Ilimsk Mill is 2,100 people.
The Ust-Ilimsk Mill is listed among 100 strategically important companies of the Irkutsk Oblast.

The Mill manufactures products that meet the requirements of the National System for Forest Certification, a voluntary certification system.
Two Ilim’s Forest Branches in the Ust‑Ilimsk and Bratsk Districts, incorporated under Forest-Siberia structural unit, supply feedstock to the Ust‑Ilimsk and Bratsk Mills.

The Branch leases timberlands in the Ust‑Ilimsk, Nizhneilimskiy and Katangskiy districts of the Irkutsk Oblast, and in the Evenkiyskiy and Kezhemskiy districts of the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
Annual output: about 5 million cubic meters of wood.
In addition to harvesting, the Branch is involved in forest management and reforestation, fire safety activities, as well as construction, maintenance and repair of forest roads. Reforestation is implemented by natural, artificial and complex forest regeneration across 48,000 ha.
