Ilim Group’s forest branches in the Irkutsk oblast complete their annual reforestation projects

Ilim Group’s forest Branches in the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Districts have reported on the results of their reforestation efforts. More than RUR 43 million were expended by Ilim Group in 2010 for reforestation.

Within reforestation projects Ilim Group has planted over 2.6 million pieces of pine and spruce nursery in Arkhangelsk oblast

OOO IlimSeverLes, Ilim Group’s harvesting company in the Arkhangelsk Oblast, has reported on the results of its reforestation and forest cultivation projects. These projects were completed in the leased forests from May through October, 2010 and cost RUR 31.4 million.

The Bratsk branch of Ilim Group reduces its environmental impact

Over the past 5 years, the Bratsk Branch of OJSC Ilim Group (Irkutsk Oblast) has lowered its load on the environment by 4%. For instance, the Mill’s emissions, which amounted to 5,800 tons in 2005, were reduced to 5,600 tons in 2009.

Ilim Group concludes an agreement with the Arkhangelsk oblast administration to complete the construction of a large health center in Koryazhma

Mr. Paul Herbert, Chief Executive Officer of Ilim Group, Mr. Ilya Mikhalchuk, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Oblast, and Mr. Valery Elezov, Head of the Koryazhma Municipal Entity, have signed and Agreement today in Arkhangelsk concerning the construction of a major health center in Koryazhma.

Ilim Group starts introducing electronic document flow and archive

OJSC Ilim Group, Russia’s major pulp and paper manufacturer, has launched a new project introducing electronic document flow and archive. The system in question is based on Extended ECM for SAP Solutions by Open Text Corporation. Project contractor is AveBrava, Open Text’s official partner in Russia and CIS.

The Ust-Ilimsk Branch of Ilim Group started filing electronic declarations using the Internet. The new declaration format was introduced as part of the Russian Government's Electronic Russia task project, which is expected to be completed by 2012.

Ilim Group has chosen the main technology supplier for Bratsk project

Ilim Group has chosen Metso Company as the main technology and equipment supplier for a new kraft softwood pulp mill to be built in Irkutsk Oblast on its production site in Bratsk. It is one of the largest investment projects in the Russian pulp and paper industry for the past 40 years.
