Training opportunities

The company has a system of staff training and development which provides educational opportunities both within the company and externally.
The company cooperates with industry-related universities (such as St. Petersburg State Technological University of Plant Polymers and Arkhangelsk State Technical University), as well as industrial colleges and vocational schools. The company’s Corporate University has been functioning since 2004 as a tool for supporting changes in the company and developing its human resources. Corporate University programs are composed annually in direct relation to the company's current needs and may contain senior management training programs, management skills development programs for line managers, best practices training programs and interactive programs for various management levels. The company cooperates with the acknowledged Russian trainers and consultants and develops its internal teaching network: Ilim Group managers give certain courses as part of the corporate programs.
The company encourages the employees desire to learn foreign languages and arranges corporate English courses. Distance learning system functions in the company since 2008 and offers electronic courses in various areas. The company's branch offices have their own training and skill development centers for the blue-collar staff.
