Ilim East

Business unit Ilim East includes Ilim Group's assets located in the Irkutsk Region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory: Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Branches, harvesting and regional service companies.

The Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group is Pulp and Containerboard Mill in Bratsk. It is one of the major producers in Russian pulp and paper industry, traditionally supplying market pulp and containerboard to South-East Asia.

The Ust-Ilimsk Branch of Ilim Group is Pulp Mill in Ust-Ilimsk, one of the largest wood chemical mills in the world.

Strategy

Within the next five years a large-scale investment program will be implemented at Ilim East locations with the aim of expanding the existing capacities and creating new ones to manufacture higher value products in the Siberian region. The project is also targeted to improve the quality of products and customer services, upgrade the forest management system, reduce environmental impact and increase productivity.
