Sergey Pondar

Born in Svetogorsk. In 1987 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Forestry Engineering Academy with a degree in Process Engineering. Sergey joined the Svetogorsk Pulp and Paper Mill as Shift Foreman, and was gradually promoted to the position of CEO.

In 2009, Sergey Pondar was appointed Executive Director of ZAO Inernational Paper. From 2009 through 2010, Mr. Pondar worked for International Paper Company in the US on projects designed to develop manufacturing excellence tools and implement best manufacturing practices.

In Janiary 2010 Sergey Pondar was appointed to the position of Managing Director Technology and Manufacturing Services of Ilim Group.
