Jerzy Majewski

Jerzy Majewski was born in Kwidzyn, Poland. In 1979 he graduated from the Gdansk University of Technology with a degree in Engineering. In 1979 he joined the Kwidzyn Pulp and Paper Mill where he held several positions before being appointed the Mill’s Commercial Director in 1990.

In 1997 Mr. Majewski became CEO of the Kwidzyn PPM. He then moved on to the position of Manufacturing Director in the European office of International Paper. Starting from December 2008, after having moved to Krakow (Poland), Mr. Majewski combined the positions of President of International Paper Polska and Director Supply Chain and Customer Services for International Paper Europe.

In May 2010 Mr. Jerzy Majewski became Deputy CEO/ Bratsk Project Director of Ilim Group.
