Alexander, Bass

Born in 1960. In 1986 Alexander Bass graduated from the Engineering and Economics Department of the Leningrad Technological Institute of Pulp and Paper Industry.

In 1977-1986 Alexander Bass worked for Pozitiv, a Leningrad photosensitive materials plant.

In 1986-1995 Mr. Bass worked for ZAO Giprobum where he was promoted to the position of Senior Subject Matter Expert. His key job responsibilities included development of financial and economic sections of front-end engineering and design documents.

In 1995-2007 Alexander Bass held the position of Economics Director, Ilim Pulp. He created a management planning and reporting system, which enables the management to make prompt and highly accurate decisions in the area of business operations.

Since July 2007 Alexander has been Economics Director of Ilim Group.

In October 2007 Mr. Bass was appointed Chief Managing Director, Supply Chain, Ilim Group.
