Victor Atamanov

Born in 1959. Graduated from the Kiev Polytechnic Institute in 1983.

In 1983-1993 Victor Atamanov worked at the Kiev Paper and Board Mill (Ukraine) in various capacities, including Shift Supervisor of the Board Production Department, Deputy Head of the Board Production Department, and Chief Process Engineer. In 1994-1996 he worked for Moscow-based Inpredkadry Company as Pulp and Paper Equipment Sales Engineer.

In 1996 Mr. Atamanov joined Ilim Pulp as Operations Supervisor of the St. Petersburg KPK (Cartonboard and Printing Mill).

From 2000 to 2003 Victor Atamanov worked in various marketing positions at Ilim Pulp, including Deputy Head of the Marketing Department, Head of the Marketing Department, and Marketing Director. In 2003-2006 he was Managing Director Marketing and Sales of Ilim Pulp. His key responsibilies included organization of sales and marketing functions, sales planning, sales performance control, interaction with a logistics company, involvement in development of business plans for the locations and the entire corporation. Since 2006 Victor Atamanov was General Director of Severtrade, Ilim Group’s trader in domestic and foreign markets.

In October 2007 Victor Atamanov was appointed Managing Director Strategic Planning and Marketing, Ilim Group.
